Whiplash
Whiplash occurs when the head and neck are rapidly forced backward and forward, often during a motor vehicle collision or other sudden impact.
Neck pain and stiffness are common, but whiplash can also be associated with headaches, dizziness, balance problems, visual sensitivity, fatigue, brain fog, and difficulty concentrating.
The neck provides the brain with important information about head and body position, so changes in cervical movement can affect more than the neck itself.
We begin with your injury history and a comprehensive neurological and structural evaluation.
We may assess cervical movement, posture, eye movements, balance, coordination, sensory processing, and motor function.
Your treatment plan is based on what we find and may include neurological rehabilitation, structural care, movement exercises, sensory and motor activities, and home strategies.
After a car accident or other injury, you may expect the pain to resolve within a few days or weeks. Sometimes it doesn't.
Persistent symptoms can affect your work, sleep, exercise, and confidence in your movement.
At Delta Neuro Health, we look at both the structural and neurological sides of the injury to understand how your systems are working together today. We work together with other providers after accidents to best support any given patient through their journey.
