About Dr. Coppus
Dr. Joseph Coppus is a board-certified chiropractic neurologist, trained in clinical neuroscience through the Carrick Institute. He decided to pursue this approach to healthcare after developing POTS following a concussion, and then being helped by a chiropractic neurologistt (Dr. Coppus’ Story). Since then he has helped hundreds of patients who have struggled with similar issues. He has obtained specified training in the management of migraine, TBI, dysautonomia, movement disorders, eye movement disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. He is also a member of the clinical test writing committee for the American Board of Chiropractic Neurology exam, which he has served for five years now.
Dr. Coppus formerly worked with the Neurologic Wellness Institute as the lead clinician of their downtown Chicago location treating patients from all over the world. He has previously been based in clinics located in Miami, FL and Atlanta, GA.
After spending many years learning to improve neurological conditions, Dr. Coppus’ ultimate focus is to help each individual patient achieve their health goals to better their overall wellness. He sees healthcare as a collaborative effort between doctor and patient, offering individualist solutions based on the needs of the patient. Offering no false hopes or promises, his approach is realistic and personalized to create a strategy towards better health and improved quality of life.
Together with his supportive wife, Justyna, and their team, he is grateful to have returned home to Ohio, so that he can give back to the people and communities who raised him and helped make him the person he is today.

After struggling with migraines for 4 years, she came across functional neurology and it helped her get her life back after so long. She now aims to relay the message and impact of this field of neurology to others to be able to better help them in their health care journey.
